EAGLES 5000 – 5K & KIDS 1K – Run with the Eagles!
Join us for the first annual Eagles 5000, taking place during NUHS homecoming weekend! We plan to have many student cheer groups along the route to keep runners motivated. This event is coordinated by The Friends of ISD88, along with the help from student clubs and sports teams.

Date:  Sat, Sept 22, 2012 (NUHS Homecoming Weekend)
Time:  9:00am KidsK Start / 9:30am 5K Start
Where: Start location and same-day registration is at New Ulm Public High School

The 5k will be professionally timed by Race Place Chip Timing . Visit the “register now” button below to view age categories, prizes and more info.

Spirit Award for most enthusiastic cheer group on the 5K route. Clubs/Sports Teams are encouraged to get a cheer group together to motivate as well as direct runners along the race course. WOMEN OF TODAY – EAGLES SOARING ACROSS NEW ULM
Tuesday, May 15, 2012 – 5:30 pm

Join hands to show support and create awareness for District 88!

Date:  Tuesday, May 15, 2012
Time:  5:30pm
Where: Meet at the DAC at 5:00pm or just go straight downtown for 5:30pm start

Purpose: Promote awareness and support among the community’s various organizations – the idea that we all work together and are united as a community. Participants will stand together on Broadway to provide a visual display of support.
How to Participate:  Participants will meet at the DAC at 5pm that evening and then proceed to Broadway. The event will finish around 5:45pm – it’s an opportunity to show people all of the different organizations that support our community.

If you are interested in participating you can purchase a $10 t-shirt (purple with white lettering stating ‘Eagles Soaring across New Ulm’) from Gag Sheet Metal at 106 3rd St N or mail to:

EAGLES EXTRAVAGANZA

The Friends of ISD 88 is hosting the Eagles Extravaganza on Friday, April 27th at the Hope and Healing Center from 5:30pm-11:30pm.

Tickets will be available up until the event on Friday the 27th, and also available at the door.

Social Hour:  5:30pm-6:30pm
Dinner:  6:30pm
Entertainment:  8:00pm-11:30pm
Tickets:  Meal and entertainment = $30/individual and $50/couple
Entertainment only = $15/individual (admission at the door for entertainment only)

Meal:
2 entrée choices – A BBQ pulled pork sandwich and pasta salad, or a pulled pork pasta dinner with a tomato wine sauce and parmesan. Both entrées are served with salad greens and bread.

Musical entertainment provided by:
New Ulm High School Jazz Band and the Payne Street Singers (during meal)
Concord Singers and Bockfest Boys (starting at 8:00pm)
